University School of Milwaukee football team off to undefeated start
MILWAUKEE — The excitement for the undefeated University School of Milwaukee football team is high! They played their hearts out on September 16th winning their away conference game against Lake Country Lutheran (Hartland, WI) by a score of 28-27. Coach Brian Sommers shares, “The team is off to one of the best starts in school history and tonight (9/23) we will honor the seniors in a game vs Shoreland Lutheran. Despite our solid start to the season, we know how challenging the Metro Classic Conference is and we must maintain our hard-working approach. As long as we continue to play for one another, believe in our TEAM mentality, and pay attention to the small details of football, we might be in a position to go 1-0 again this week.” We look forward to recapping more of the fall sports highlights.
