Colts Neck AYF youth football players and cheerleaders visit MetLife Stadium

COLTS NECK, N.J. — On Sunday, October 9, Colts Neck AYF caravanned their way to MetLife Stadium for a day that no one would soon forget. The 7U football team was invited to play a game at halftime against Hoboken, while the Colts Neck D8 and D12 cheerleaders cheered them on from the sideline. An exciting concept that proved to be an overwhelmingly outstanding day.

The excitement in the tunnel was palpable as the coaches got the boys ready for their big game and the girls chanted letting everyone know that the Colts Neck Cougars were getting ready to take the field. As soon as they announced the teams, everyone was off and running. Based on how they played, the boys really felt the adrenaline of the crowd and the significance of the field they were playing on.

The cheerleaders did their game day cheers while stunting and tumbling, also driven by the energy of the crowd, cameras, and exhilaration of their surroundings. Proud parents sat in the stands watching their football player and/or cheerleader on the field and Jumbotron making memories that will last a lifetime. As everyone at the stadium heard that day, “LETS GO COUGARS!”
