Wellington wrestling club competes at Grappler Fall Classic National tournament
WELLINGTON, Fla. — The Wellington Wrestling club traveled to the Grappler Fall Classic National tournament in Kalamazoo, Michigan early October and came home with three individuals that earned National All-American honors and another who placed in the high school varsity division.
Sofia Bentz placed 2nd in the H.S. girl’s 170 pound division; Aurora Guadiana placed 3rd in the H.S. girls 127 pound division; and Patrick Jones place 4th in the boys elite high school division to all earn their All-American honors. In addition, Sam Marvel placed 7th in the boys high school varsity division. We brought a total of 15 middle school and high school wrestlers to compete with some of the top wrestlers in the country.
