Meet the Eagle Stix 2027 Blue girls lacrosse team
MILTON, Ga. — We are featuring the talented Eagle Stix 2027 Blue! These fierce young ladies are ranked fourth in U.S. according to US Club Lacrosse Rankings. Their head coach is Tim Godby. Godby founded the Eagle Stix Girl’s Lacrosse Club in 2009. In 2021-2022, the Eagle Stix Club was ranked fifth in the country.
The “unofficial” leader of their team is Alyssa Brackley. Brackley is a phenomenal goalie. Her daring play generates two to three turnovers each game with intercepted passes! Another one of her amazing talents is keeping it light on the field even in the tensest situations she manages to make her teammates smile!
The team finished the 2021-2022 season with a record of 29-5-1. They usually play six or seven tournaments per year in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. These states train some of the most competitive teams. However, the Eagle Stix 2027 Blue has already beaten the number one (M&D Black) and two (Hero’s Green) teams in the country! According to Coach Godby, the team is successful for a few different reasons. They are incredibly well balanced offensively and have more assisted goals than most other teams. Their defensive success is due in large part to great communication among the girls. Lastly, the team has the best goalie play and draw circle play (led by Lillian Katula) of any team in the country!
Eagle Stix 2027 Blue hopes to continue to be in the top five rankings for the third year in a row and to beat the Rochester Aces! There is no doubt in my mind that these young ladies will continue rocking the top five rankings in the nation as these chicks with stix look strong and play fierce! Lax to the Max!
