Wilson and Pernot Receive MW Player of the Year Honors While Three Other Spartans Named to Conference Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Jada WIlson was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year and Bente Pernot was recognized as the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year on Sunday afternoon in a news release by the Mountain West Conference. Wilson was also honored as a member of the All-Conference First Team while Pernot made two teams including the All-Conference Second Team and the All-Newcomer Team. Pernot was joined on the All-Conference Second Team by teammates Sabrina Weinman and Bella Flocchini. Tatiana Cunningham was also recognized as a member of the All-Newcomer Team.
