Kentridge HS football team prevails over cross-town rival to earn playoff spot

KENT, Wash. — Head Coach Elijah Ruhl led his team, the Kentridge Chargers, to victory over cross-town rivals, the Kentwood Conquers, for the first time in 22 years!!!

The 27-8 win was not only a sweet victory but also clinched a playoff spot for the Chargers who will face first-seed Skyline next weekend.
In a season plagued with injuries, Coach Ruhl was able to lead his team to persevere and overcome and to learn life’s greatest lesson: Never, ever give up on yourself, no matter the obstacles that stand in your way. YOU CAN OVERCOME THEM AND WIN!! Way to go Coach! Let’s go Chargers!!!
