Top 10 Illinois girls basketball players in Class of 2023
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (BVM) – The state of Illinois has produced some high-quality girls basketball players over the years. WNBA standouts Candace Parker, Tamika Catchings and Yolanda Griffith once took the hardwood at the high school level in the state. DePaul women’s basketball star Aneesah Morrow, a second-team All-American as only a freshman last season, was a standout at Simeon in Chicago before making her way to the collegiate level.
Clearly, Illinois knows how to produce exceptional girls basketball players and the programs that have landed recruits from the state are keenly aware of this fact. With the 2022-23 basketball season fast approaching, here are the top 10 seniors for the upcoming season.
