1. Ashlynn Shade, G, La Lumiere
In a quality group of players in Indiana’s Class of 2023, Shade stands above the rest. Last season, the 5-foot-11 guard averaged 20.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists for Noblesville, leading the Millers to a Class 4A state championship. In the title game, Shade was nearly unstoppable with 31 points, seven rebounds, five assists and five steals. Through three seasons at Noblesville, Shade scored nearly 1,700 points. For her senior season, Shade will play at La Lumiere where she’ll continue preparing for the college level. Ranked No. 15 in the Class of 2023, Shade will join UConn after her high school career is done, committing to the Huskies last January.
