Redrafting the 2021 NFL Draft QB class a year later
1. Justin Fields
Original pick: No. 11
No one has seen a bigger week-to-week jump in the 2021 class than Fields, who followed up his inconsistent play early on with a third straight standout performance. With the first four weeks of the season looking much like his play during his rookie campaign, Fields has quickly changed the narrative on his season, boosting him to the top of class rankings following breakout performances against New England, Dallas and Miami. With the Chicago offense highlighting his rushing ability, Fields has flourished, becoming the dual-threat quarterback many expected coming out of Ohio State after posting a regular-season record 178 rushing yards. After entering the year with the least to work with on offense, Fields has seemingly come out on the other side as an emerging star.
