Top 10 Minnesota boys basketball players in Class of 2023

Honorable Mention

Max Shikenjanski, G, Stillwater High School

Shikenjanski was one of the top scorers in the state last season. The Stillwater guard averaged 28.3 points. However, he will be playing football next year for Minnesota as a preferred walk-on for the Gophers.

Tommy Humphries, F, Totino-Grace High School

Humphries will be playing basketball for Furman next year but this year he is helping the Eagles defend their Class 3A state title. Humphries is one of the many seniors that Totino-Grace has that make them a favorite to repeat as state champions.

Will Underwood, G, Mahtomedi High School

Underwood was a key contributor for the Zephyrs last season. Mahtomedi went 18-8 before losing to Totino-Grace in the Section 4AAA semifinal. With Underwood back this season, the Zephyrs should put together a great season.

CJ O’Hara, G, Park Center High School

O’Hara is now playing for Park Center to finish out his senior season. The Pirates went 31-1 last year but did lose a lot of seniors and the addition of O’Hara will definitely help. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 18.6 points last year for Hopkins and will be looking to get the attention of more DI programs this year.
