9. Jakwon Moore, SG, 1-of-1 Prep Academy
Moore has the ability to score in bunches as he did for both Word of God Academy as a junior and in the Hoop State League. In the Hoop State League final in 2021, Moore led Word of God’s Gold team with 29 points in their 78-53 win over Eagles All Day. He attacks the rim with his big frame, scoring and collecting rebounds by out-muscling opponents. He can also hit from deep as well.
Moore transferred to 1 of 1 Prep, LaMelo Ball’s new prep academy in the Charlotte area. After nursing an injury that kept him from doing much on the summer and fall circuit, he’ll be ready to go. He is still uncommitted but has received offers.
