Top 10 California boys basketball players in Class of 2023

Taylor’s high school basketball journey has taken him from Kenwood High School in his hometown of Chicago to Kanye West’s Donda Academy and now San Ysidro. The four-star wing will join another top 10 player in California after Donda Academy closed for the year due to remarks made by West. Taylor averaged 28.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.5 steals as a sophomore at Kenwood. The 6-foot-8 star committed to Penny Hardaway and Memphis in November, choosing the Tigers over Arkansas, Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina and others.
