Clarkston HS football team wins regional championship
CLARKSTON, Mich. — I would like to congratulate the 2022 Clarkston Boys Football team for their incredible season and regional championship. While we wait for the next round of the MHSAA State Playoffs, the Wolves have already had a season to be proud of and a regional championship effort for the ages as they overcame Rochester Adams 36-33 in the regional finals.
The game against Adams was a nail-biter and had fans on the edge of their seats right up until the very end.
Clarkston Head Coach Justin Pintar gave all the credit to his players for a well-fought victory.
“Unbelievable!” said Coach Pintar. “I mean, talk about grit and determination and never giving up. I told the kids there when they were going for two that this is going to be what wins the game for us.”
The players followed through and proudly brought another regional championship home to Clarkston.
Best of luck to the Wolves as they head out to take on Caledonia on November 19th.
