Every time NFL games were relocated in the Super Bowl Era
San Francisco 49ers (Week 7, 1989)
The first entry on this list where nature was the primary cause for the relocation of the game, the 49ers were forced out of their home Candlestick Park due to stadium damage during the Loma Prieta earthquake. The team instead played at Stanford University’s Stanford Stadium where they didn’t miss a beat, defeating the New England Patriots 37-20 on their way to a 14-2 regular season record and their second consecutive Super Bowl championship.
