Wayne State College placed four players on the 2022 AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) All-Central Region Team announced Wednesday morning. Sophomore middle hitter Taya Beller was voted Central Region Player of the Year and All-Central Region First Team. Sophomore middle hitter Maggie Brahmer and junior outside hitter Kelsie Cada each collected All-Central Region First Team honors while junior setter Rachel Walker was selected All-Central Region honorable mention. Wildcat head coach Scott Kneifl was also voted AVCA Central Region Coach of the Year.
