Hoover HS boys soccer team wins district and league championships

NORTH CANTON, Ohio — Hoover High School boy’s soccer team’s overall record was 15-4-2 which tied a school record for wins in a season. We were both Federal League champs for the 7th time in school history and District champs for the 3rd time in school history. We went 5-0-1 in the Federal League with the lone tie being against Jackson which was the first time we hadn’t lost at Jackson since 2000. We had big regular season wins over non-conference opponents Medina, Eastlake North, Solon, and University School along with a draw versus Hudson. We went 2-1-2 in games against state-ranked opponents this season (University, Hudson, Jackson, Medina, and Wooster) which created arguably the strongest schedule we have ever played.
