La Porte HS girls basketball team prepares for new season
LA PORTE, Ind. — After a disappointing 6-16 season, coach Airrence Stark looks to return Lady Slicers Basketball to winning form.
A front court led by 6’1″ center Oakley Bender, junior, and a promising set of guards with a variety of experience from sophomores to seniors, including senior guards Abby and Ally Allen, bring hustle and effort to the 2022-23 campaign.
Remaining road challenges will include Duneland Conference matchups with Portage on Dec. 16th and a January 7th game against Lake Central.
