Milton 8th grade football team wins another state league championship

MILTON, Ga. — Led by Coaches Myquon Foote, Joe Schmidt, Matt Battaglia, Sarath Degala, Matt Mashburn, Tim Pounds, Jeff DeLoach, Robert Davis, and Trainer Joe Martino, the Milton Eagles Feeder Program 8th grade football team has finished their 6th, 7th and 8th-grade seasons with a final record of 31-1 and secured another state league championship title.

This three-year run is the best record that any middle school team has ever had here, in Milton. They have been undefeated all three years during the regular season, securing two league championships and one runner-up position. The team is ranked #1 in the state of Georgia and they will surely do great things on the high school field next year!
