9. Bill MacFarland (1954-56)
“Enforcer” put his stamp on school history with three consecutive first-team All-American awards. He was a punishing, physical type of player. MacFarland was an integral part of the 1955 and 1956 NCAA champion teams. In 2009, he gained entry into the hallowed Michigan Hall of Honor.
