Honorable mention

Zdeno Chara, D (2006-2020)

Chara called Boston home for 14 seasons. He recorded a total of 481 points (148 goals and 333 assists). He also won the Norris Trophy, an annual award given to the NHL’s best defensive player. Chara was a seven-time All-Star. 

David Krejci, C (2006-21, 2022-present)

Krejci is a one-time Stanley Cup winner. He also rejoined the Bruins in 2022 after playing one season in his country, the Czech Republic. He’s scored 223 goals in 981 games.

Gerry Cheevers, G (1965-72, 1975-80)

Cheevers won 226 games as the Bruins netminder. He also helped the Bruins win Stanley Cups in 1970 and 1972. Cheevers was also known for wearing one of the most unique-looking masks in NHL history. 

 

Rick Middleton, RW (1976-88)

In 2018, Middleton’s No. 16 was raised to the rafters of the TD Garden. He produced 988 total points (448 goals and 540 assists). Middleton also captured the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, an award given to the player who displays a combination of skill and sportsmanship, during his time in Boston. 

Brad Marchand, LW (2009-present)

Marchand is also a one-time Stanley Cup winner. He’s played 888 total games and has produced 813 total points. He also holds the Bruins record for most shorthanded goals (31).
