Ranking the top 10 Boston Bruins players of all time

  1. Terry O’Reilly, RW (1971-85)

O’Reilly was selected with the No. 14 overall pick in the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft. He recorded 27 points in his second season. He also led the Bruins as captain from 1983-85. O’Reilly recorded 606 points (204 goals and 402 assists) in Boston.

His career came to a close in 1985, and to this day, he’s considered one of the toughest hockey players to hit the ice. O’Reilly coached the Bruins from 1986-89, where he led the team to the postseason for three straight years.

The franchise retired his No. 24 jersey in 2002.
