Top 10 Indiana Hoosiers basketball players of all time
1. Isiah Thomas (1979-1981)
Thomas tops an assortment of basketball lists from nearly every level he’s played at. Like many of the stops in his career, the Chicago native always raised the level of competition around him, helping Indiana to a national championship in 1981 after setting the single-season record for both assists and steals. Along with his career 15.4 points per game, Thomas helped the Hoosiers reach heights that few on the list have topped since. The Hoosiers point guard racked up two All-American selections and was awarded the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player the year they won the national championship.
