Meet Brookfield HS athletes Ruby Casey and Alex Smith

BROOKFIELD, Conn. — 

Ruby Casey

Meet Ruby Casey, now a senior at Brookfield High. She has been playing soccer since 1st grade and her experience has helped her lead the BHS girl’s soccer team to the SWC finals the last two years. A captain of the team in her junior and senior years, Ruby was also all SWC in both years.

• All conference 11, 12 (2021, 2022)
• 12th year playing soccer
• Started playing soccer in 1st grade for Brookfield Soccer Club

Alex Smith

Meet Alex Smith, also a senior at BHS. A two-sport star, Alex has been playing both lacrosse and football since middle school. A 4-year varsity football player and 3-year varsity lacrosse player, Alex defines the term  “a natural athlete.” He led the BHS football team this year as a captain.
