Auston Matthews, C (2016-present)
Matthews won the Hart Memorial Trophy, which recognizes the most valuable player in the NHL, last season. He was the first Leafs player to win it since Ted Kennedy won the award in 1955. Matthews is also seventh in all-time goals scored (271) for the Leafs.
George Armstrong, RW (1949-71)
Playing in 1,188 games, Armstrong was a well-respected captain of the Leafs. He led the Leafs to four Stanley Cup titles. He also produced 713 total points (296 goals and 417 assists).
