Ranking the top 10 Golden State Warriors of all time
3. Kevin Durant (2016-19)
The two-time NBA champ and two-time Finals MVP has an interesting case for one of the top spots in Golden State history. Although his time with the franchise doesn’t closely mirror many of the others on the list, following just three seasons with the team, Durant still did all he could to live up to the billing. One of the top scorers in NBA history, Durant quickly fit in alongside the reigning NBA champions and created a nearly unstoppable foursome during his stint in the Bay area. In his opening Finals with the franchise, Durant topped 30 points in all five games and put on a masterful performance in the series–clinching victory over LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers by totaling 39 points.
