Top 10 Ottawa Senators players of the past 30 years

  1. Wade Redden, D (1996-2008)

Redden was initially selected with the second overall pick by the New York Islanders in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. However, he was involved in a three-team trade that sent him to Ottawa. He recorded 30 points, playing in all 82 games during his rookie season.

His career plus-minus of 159 is still the best in Ottawa’s history. He also finished with 410 total points.
