9. Roger Craig (1983-1990)

Craig will always be remembered as one of the best in franchise history after helping the 49ers win three Super Bowls. He became the first running back in league history to record 1,000-plus rushing yards and 1,000-plus receiving yards in the same season (1985). From 1983-89, Craig averaged 1,552 total yards and nine touchdowns per season for San Francisco. The 1988 NFL Offensive Player of the Year racked up 11,506 total yards in eight seasons with the 49ers and currently sits third on the franchise’s all-time rushing list (7,064).
