2. Boston Celtics 

The runner-up team of the 2022 NBA Finals has a higher trending score in the U.S. than the champions. 

The biggest peak in interest for the Celtics came around the time of the NBA Finals in June. Jayson Tatum was the No. 1 overall top-trending player for the team. Then-head coach Ime Udoka and his wife Nia Long had some of the biggest increases in search frequency (rising topics) for the team after the cheating scandal unraveled.
