Swimming & Diving Mourns Passing of Frank Dooley
Obituary COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State swimming and diving program mourns the loss of Frank Dooley, a Buckeye great. Dooley was a three-time All-American at Ohio State. During the offseason, he swam with the New Haven Swim Club, with which he set world records in the 400 free and 4×200 free relay. At the 1952 Olympics, held in Helsinki, Finland, Dooley was a member of the United States’ gold medal-winning 4×200 free relay team in the qualifying heats.
