5. Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford (2016 Rose Bowl)
In a season where he set a new record for single-season all-purpose yardage, McCaffrey showed just how versatile he was for the Stanford Cardinal in the Rose Bowl. In a 45-16 win over Iowa, McCaffrey recorded 368 all-purpose yards with two touchdowns.
McCaffrey rushed for 172 yards with 105 receiving yards, 63 punt return yards and 28 kickoff return yards. He scored on a 75-yard receiving touchdown on the first play from scrimmage and would later score on a 68-yard punt return touchdown.
