Vandegrift football makes it to UIL 6A D2 championship game

AUSTIN, Texas — For the first time, the Vandegrift Vipers high school football team in Austin, Texas made it to the end this winter. The 2022-23 football season was an exciting ride for the young men. It was unfortunate that they came up short in the state championship game that Saturday at AT&T Stadium. As they look ahead to next year, they are excited about what lies ahead. In spite of the fact that it didn’t end the way they wanted, it is something they should be proud of. Congratulations to the Vandegrift High School football team on all their achievements!
