Erie QB Evan Rearick shines at Blue-Grey All-American Bowl
ERIE, Colo. — Previously, I shared Erie Tigers #11 varsity quarterback Evans Rearick’s story and his exciting news of being invited to play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in Dallas Texas on December 19, 2022. Now, I’m happy to bring you this follow-up story of his experiences.
Evan and his family hopped on a plane in Denver and headed to Dallas Texas filled with anticipation of the coming days ahead.
The players had two 3hr. practices before their game with coaches who were all former NFL players. Evan’s head coach was former Iowa State and Seattle Seahawks Quarterback, Seneca Wallace! Evan played about 20-25 plays and his team won 20-13!
A special moment for Evan was when he threw a 28 yard pass that ended up as a touchdown. Having the chance to play with some amazing football players down in Dallas was a humbling experience for him. Being on the field with players who have offers from High Level Division 1 programs, the speed of the game and the athletic ability of those he played with and against was so fun and awesome for him. It was such an exciting and memorable experience he will never forget. Evan shared how truly grateful he was for the invitation.
Evan not only made his family proud but the whole Erie Tigers family watching here at home!
Keep your eye on this Erie Tiger…I’m sure we will see more great things to come!
