Ranking the top 10 Edmonton Oilers of all time
10. Ryan Smyth (1994-07, 2011-14)
Following up the Oilers’ then-recent dynasty, Smyth became a bright spot for Edmonton’s ever-changing team during the 90s and early-00s. The fan-favorite reached the 30-goal mark on three different occasions and ended his Oilers’ career with 631 career points. His final numbers put him eighth on the franchise’s all-time scoring list. While not quite reaching the same individual accomplishments as some of his Oilers contemporaries, Smyth still goes down as one of the team’s most impressive players, and even made a return to the club to end his career.
