8. Leon Draisaitl (2014-current)

Draisaitl and current teammate Connor McDavid have formed a Gretzky-Mark Messier type duo since their opening year together back in 2015. While McDavid has been the player talked about most around the league, Draisaitl has continued to be a consistent star while playing as both a winger and center. With over 250 goals and nearly 400 assists, Draisaitl is on the path to become one of the organization’s all-time greats. Adding some playoff success will be the next step for Draisaitl’s resume as he continues to rack up some of the league’s top honors.
