Couture was drafted in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft with the No. 9 overall pick. He’d make his debut two years later against the Philadelphia Flyers. Couture has been named to two All-Star teams as well.
He’s currently fourth in all-time points (661) for the Sharks. He’s also played 879 games, the fifth-most in San Jose’s history.
