The 10 longest regular season win streaks in NBA history
22 games – Houston Rockets, 2007-08
Unlike other teams on this list, the Rockets didn’t come into their season as a dominant team. Instead, Houston started the year near .500 at 24-20. However, beginning with a 111-107 win over the Golden State Warriors on Jan. 29, the Rockets won 22 straight games, becoming the second-longest win streak in league history at the time.
The team’s win streak put them squarely into the playoff picture as they ended the season as the No. 5 seed in the West with a 55-27 record. Unfortunately, the regular season wins didn’t amount to much as the Rockets were quickly ousted in the postseason, losing 4-2 to the Utah Jazz in the Western Conference first round.
