Meet Brighton area volleyball player Cassie Banks

BRIGHTON, Colo. — I played volleyball in middle school and throughout high school, including playing on a competitive club team. I always wanted to play in college but decided to accept an academic scholarship instead of playing volleyball. It was a great decision but I’ve always missed playing at a competitive level. Several years ago a friend I went to high school with invited me to play on her women’s team. From then, I just couldn’t stop playing again and formed a team so we could play co-ed as well and involve my husband, Jeremy. We have taken 1st place twice now in both the women’s league and co-ed league. It has been such a fun way to get out and enjoy playing volleyball again and getting in some exercise. We signed up for the co-ed league in Brighton which started in January. We would love to see some of you come out and play too!
