Strong second half propels Dragons past Devils
CORTLAND, N.Y. — The Fredonia State women’s basketball team dropped an 85-63 game at Cortland on Friday evening. Renee Park led the Devils with 12 points, and Amber Louis added 11. Alena Wright topped the Devils with seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. Fredonia State came off a 26-day break and showed no signs of rust. They broke out to an early 7-2 lead. Cortland battled back and would take a 13-12 lead, their first of the game. The Devils responded with back-to-back threes from Culeton and Park, to regain momentum.
