Ronald Powell’s 247 Sports page shows that he has a 0.9999 player rating so he’s tied for the No. 7 spot for the highest-rated high school football player of all time. 

Native to Moreno Valley, California, the LB graduated in the Class of 2010 from Rancho Verde High School. He had a stellar senior season as he totaled over 80 tackles, 13 sacks, 28 TFLs on defense and averaged over 15 yards per catch on offense. Scouts considered him a beast in the making. However, he went on to have a disappointing career at Florida before being drafted relatively low in the 2014 NFL Draft (fifth round). He was out of the NFL by 2017 – just seven years after graduating high school.
