5 biggest margins of victory in college football bowl games

(BVM) – The Georgia Bulldogs had perhaps the best showing in any college football bowl game of all time when they manhandled the TCU Horned Frogs with a 65-7 victory in the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday. The win not only secured back-to-back titles for the Bulldogs but also gave the program the record for the most lopsided victory in college football bowl history.

With this record-breaking victory, Georgia will long be remembered for having one of the most dominating performances in the history of bowl games and national championships. Though the Bulldogs stand alone atop the mountain of blowout victories, there have been other large margins of victory during the college football bowl season. Take a look at the top five.

Editor’s Note: In case of a tie, the victories will be listed in chronological order from the oldest to the newest entry.
