Trevor Bauer released by Dodgers: 5 teams that might sign him
LOS ANGELES (BVM) — The Los Angeles Dodgers released Trevor Bauer on Thursday after he served a 194-game suspension. The former NL Cy Young Award winner signed a 3-year, $102 million contract in 2021, but now he will search for a new team to pitch for in 2023.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are designating right-hander Trevor Bauer for assignment, sources tell ESPN.
The Dodgers will eat $22.5 million. Bauer can sign with any major league team for the $720,000 minimum and can play immediately after completing a record-long suspension.

Bauer recorded a 2.59 ERA and 137 strikeouts in 107⅔ innings of work. He also finished with an overall record of 8-5 as a Dodger. He showed he still can pitch in MLB with those numbers, but where could that be after missing two years?
