If the Colts’ front office can get that position right (something they’ve been unable to do since Andrew Luck), Ryans will have a running game and defense ready to compete for an AFC South crown. Jonathan Taylor is one of the best running backs in the NFL and the Colts are loaded with star power on defense with Pro Bowlers like Shaquille Leonard, DeForest Buckner, Stephon Gilmore and Kenny Moore. Ryans makes the most sense for the Colts and could see first-year success similar to how Brian Daboll (New York Giants) and Mike McDaniel (Miami Dolphins) did in 2022.
