This ultimately comes down to what Tom Brady wants. If he wants to come back, that is something the Buccaneers should get done. If not, the idea of replacing a future Hall of Famer with another one is pretty enticing. There are some serious concerns with the path that Tampa Bay is headed down, but if they want to make one last hoorah, this is the move.

With the departure of Bruce Arians, the Buccaneers took a big step back. They decided to fire offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, who was once seen as a future head coach. Now there is a lot of pressure on Todd Bowles to nail this hire. But if he does, the supporting cast would still suffice in a hypothetical trade for Rodgers.
