7. Rob Blake, D (1989-2001, 2006-08)
The Kings drafted Blake with the No. 70 overall pick in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. He was named to the NHL All-Rookie team in 1991 after recording 46 points (12 goals and 34 assists). He also won the Norris Trophy, an annual award given to the NHL’s best defensive player, in 1998.
The former captain entered the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2014 and had his No. 4 retired a year later.
