Landing spots for biggest names at NBA trade deadline
Eric Gordon, Houston Rockets
Gordon is one of those veterans that come up every year around the trade deadline because they have experience and a pedigree of play that allowed them to stay in the league for a long time. While Gordon is a strong veteran presence on the Rockets, that hasn’t helped the team win many games as they currently rank dead last in the standings with an 11-37 record as of writing.
Gordon has had a decent bounce back year, playing and starting in 42 of the team’s games while averaging 12.2 points, 2.6 assists and 2.1 rebounds. This comes after three consecutive seasons where Gordon wasn’t even able to dress for 60 or more games. Though he may not be as efficient as he has been in his shorter seasons, Gordon has proven he can still play well as a 34-year-old and could be a welcomed addition to a team in need of shooting and pushing for a championship like the Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns.
REPORT: The Bucks offered four 2nd-round picks to the Rockets for Eric Gordon.
