Landing spots for biggest names at NBA trade deadline
Serge Ibaka, Milwaukee Bucks
When Ibaka came to the Bucks, the expectation was that he would add a strong defensive and veteran presence to a team looking for an NBA title. Unfortunately for both parties, Ibaka’s time in Milwaukee has been less than stellar as he has only played in 35 games with two starts over a year and a half. With that in mind, the two sides mutually agreed to explore trade options.

Even though he hasn’t received much playing time, the 33-year-old big man is a good defensive post player who is still a solid blocker. He has also helped the Toronto Raptors win the 2019 NBA title which proves his championship pedigree that could be attractive to potential suitors. Teams like the Heat, the Hawks or even the Brooklyn Nets could fit Ibaka as they would add a long defender in the paint.
