1. Mikko Koivu, C (2005-20)
Koivu was drafted in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, but he would play overseas for four years before joining the Wild. He played most of his career in Minnesota and became the franchise leader in points (709), games played (1,028) and assists (504)
The former captain retired in 2021, and a year later, his No. 9 was retired, making his number the first ever retired by the franchise.
