NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Colby-Sawyer women’s basketball team won their fifth Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest of the season Thursday night defeating the Norwich University Cadets by a 58-57 final. The Chargers took an early 8-2 lead highlighted by three-pointer by sophomore Marissa Holt (Alfred, Maine) and sophomore Megan Molettieri (Pelham, N.H.). The Cadets got a pair of two-point scores but the Chargers countered each with a three-pointer as Molettieri knocked down the first followed by another triple by sophomore Gabby Lucertini (Branford, Conn.) to push the visitor lead to 14-6.
