Yes, George has played in 10 more games than Davis. But he has not been close to the player that Davis has been this season. The better question may be why was Jaren Jackson Jr. included over Davis? Jackson Jr. has only played in six more games this season and is below Davis in almost every major category.

It is very unfortunate that Davis has dealt with injuries once again this season, because if not, he would be a legitimate MVP candidate. He has a player efficiency rating of 30.6 this year, only behind Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic and Joel Embiid.
