The youngest quarterbacks to win a Super Bowl
9. Jim McMahon, 26 years, 158 days
Just one game away from the Super Bowl in 1984, McMahon and the Chicago Bears’ vaunted defense became must–watch television throughout the 1985 season. While the historic defense has gotten much of the acclaim for the team’s run throughout the season, McMahon impressed with a perfect 11-0 record as the team’s starting quarterback. With shutout wins over the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams to open the playoffs, McMahon and the Bears would head into Super Bowl XX with more than enough momentum. The Chicago quarterback would complement the team’s top-tier defense against the New England Patriots passing for 256 yards in the Bears’ 46-10 win.
